Today is the 5th day of Ramadan, and we hope that you are able to strive the hardest in order to make the most out of Ramadan and develop yourself as a true worshipper of Allah.
It is important to always strive to become better and better, and we should never be satisfied with how we are. Even the best Muslim out there can become even better if he strives hard enough.
In Ramadan most of us become better worshippers of Allah, we recite more Quran, pray more, make more du’a, etc.
However, when the months finishes and we go back to our daily routines, many of us put the mushaf on the shelf for next year, don’t stand in the night prayer until the next Ramadan, and start doing the same sins that we stopped doing when Ramadan started.
The purpose of Ramadan, however, is to train ourselves into becoming better worshippers of Allah, and take something from it and make it into a permanent part of our lives, even after Ramadan finishes.
So have the goal of continuously trying to better yourself throughout the month, and taking some of what you got used to doing and making it a permanent part of your life.
May Allah make you and your family amongst those who really benefit from this blessed month by learning from it and implementing whatever you learn even after it finishes. Ameen.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of deeds is that which is done consistently, even if it is little.”
