Remember the merits of this blessed month

Today is the 1st day of Ramadan, and we hope this will besuch a beautiful experience for you and your family, from which you will benefit the utmost in sha Allah! We wanted to remind you about some of the merits of this blessed month, so that you can, with the help of Allah, make the most out of it. That is because when one is reminded of the greatness of something, one will act according to it.

Ramadan is the month of goodness and blessings, the month of bestowment and flourishment, and the month in which the Quran was sent down as a guide to mankind, as clear signs for guidance. It is the month that is known for mercy, forgiveness, and safety from the Fire.

In fact, the Prophet ï·º said“When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the Heaven are opened, and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained” [Sahih al-Bukhari 1899].

And indeed the gates of Heaven are opened in this month, for the increase in good actions from mankind is evident. And the gates of Hell are closed for the decrease in disobedience from the people of faith is also clear. And the devils are chained so that they are not able to do what they would normally do otherwise.

Constantly try to remind yourself of the greatness of this month. Realize the great blessing Allah has bestowed upon you by allowing you to live to see another Ramadan. Many of the people who were here with us last Ramadan are not with us anymore and did not get a chance to experience yet another Ramadan.

It is truly a blessing to be able to worship Allah in this great month. We ask Allah to make you and your loved ones amongst those who benefit the most by being able to do the most beloved actions to Allah in this great month. Ameen.

We would also like to remind you about our ongoing dawah projects that you can share in rewards for. Last year our videos on YouTube got 25,7 millions views Alhamdulillah. Imagine the reward of Islam’s message reaching so many people! The Prophet ï·º used to be the most generous in the month of Ramadan, so it’s a part of the sunnah to give extra sadaqah in this blessed month.

If you have the opportunity, we hope Allah gives you the tawfeeq to start a regular donation to this noble cause in this noble month, and that He rewards you immensely for it. And if you’re already one of our amazing monthly donors, please consider making an extra one-time donation in this blessed month. May Allah preserve you and give you the best in this life and in the hereafter. Ameen.
