Today is the 7th day of Ramadan! We hope that you and your loved ones are going through a spiritual journey and benefiting so much from this great month. Ramadan is a month of sacrifice and struggle, a month in which Allah wants us to sacrifice our time, health and wealth for His sake.
We spend the whole year doing what we please, and little time is given to doing additional acts of worship such as night-prayers, reading Quran and fasting. Ramadan is just one month, and Allah wants from us to strive a little harder this specific month than the other months of the year.
Can we not dedicate this one month solely for our Creator?
Yes, we might need to sacrifice our sleep and other luxuries which are nice to have, but at the end of the day it is all worth it. As the saying goes, “No pain, no gain.”
The amount of sacrifice and struggle we put into this month, Allah will reward us for that in this world and in the hereafter. Time is limited, so let’s begin to act immediately.
If you are used to doing certain acts in Ramadan, try to exert yourself even more this Ramadan and do something extra. Give yourself to Allah, and see what He has in store for you.
We ask Allah to make you and your family amongst those who really strive and struggle for His sake during this noble month, and that you are immensely rewarded for that by the highest level for Paradise. Ameen.
One type of sacrifice which Allah rewards so much that He can take it in His right Hand and make it as big as a mountain for you in reward, is giving charity for His sake
